kevin iz running an hy35 soon. .....

hx40 will be pretty laggy. if you wanna drag your m42 go for, but id say if you want something to remain responsive on a roadcourse, etc. id go no bigger than hx35. and for low boost setups i would recomend neither.

ive got a hx35 off my truck from when i did a bunch of work and upgraded to a schwitzer s400. the hx35 dosnt have a wastegate and has ugraded hot side prop. boost should come on about 3500 i figure. im thinking the hx35 maybe a bit big for the m10 im building so ive decided to turbo my 4door daily driver

we never run wategates bov's or boost controlers on high performance diesel trucks. i supose ill have to do a external gate and use a bov. gas turbo motors are all new to me but i have a fairly good understanding of the system.

ive had hx35's put out upwards of 40psi on a diesel. im shooting for 18-20lbs of boost on the m42. forged internals decompressed pistons. the whole deal.

What size is the hot side?
Im rebuilding a externally gated 12cm HX35 for my car
Split pulse manifold and 44mm tial WG, 50mm BOV

split pulse with the 4 banger is the key.
Use the pulses to your advantage.
